How to Plan an Easy and Fun Birthday Party

How to Plan an Easy and Fun Birthday Party

We’ve all seen those Inflatable Kingdom Bouncers set up in someone’s yard on a birthday around the Jackson Metro Area!  The space jumps are colorful, unique and are plenty of fun.  The kids just love them, and they offer a great way for them to burn off all that extra energy and get the kids outside.

Inflatable bounce houses also make for memorable parties. Boys and girls love the castles, combos or slides equally. And for you the parent who expects to be harrowed, you will find a bounce house party can actually be the simplest party you will find yourself organizing.
Here are a few party planning ideas to get you started on your kid’s bounce house birthday party.

1.   Plan the centerpiece of the party
Inflatable bounce houses make great party centerpieces, an Inflatable Kingdom Bouncer may be the first element of the party that you start off by planning. There are bounce houses available in many themes. Pick one that your kid will love and then build the entire party around it.

For instance, a Mickey Mouse Bounce House calls for fun Mickey Mouse themed invitation that you can print out. You can suggest a costume party, where kids dress up as characters from the theme world.  All this info should be included in the invitation, including the date and time of the party.  Another way to get creative with invitations is to deliver them in balloons for a fun and personal touch that other invitee kids will love.

2.   Keep the food simple
Kids enjoy finger foods and you want to be able to clean up after them easily, so keep the food simple. Include easy items like hamburgers, hotdogs, pizzas and maybe ice cream. You can also serve some fruit like watermelons, especially in summer, and offer jugs of lemonade.  Also think about having a popcorn or cotton candy stand.

3.   End on a relaxed note
Towards the end of the day, the tired kids will love to curl up on the couch with blankets to watch a movie for kids.  Maybe even end the day with the same themed movie that goes along with the Bounce House.  Remember to take a lot pictures.  Kids only have that birthday once.

Keeping Students Active in Mississippi this Summer

Can you believe it the summer is almost h ere?  In the mind of a student there is nothing like time away from the rigorous school schedule, test and early bed times. Once school is out of the picture for a few months…what is one to do with so much free time? Though lazing around in front of the computer or television is a common free time activity, studies show that sedentary kids are likely to experience unhealthy summer weight gain. Physical Activity Guidelines released by the federal government last year recommend that children and young adults do at least 60 minutes of aerobic, muscle strengthening, and bone strengthening activity a day. Getting your kids to exercise may be a challenge, but you can motivate them to get moving with these expert tips.

·         Turn off the television

·         Make exercise a family affair

·         Create structure

·         Check out free day camps

·         Make it fun

·         Keep outside toys/ sports equipment handy

·         Get friends involved

Inflatable bouncers, obstacle courses or waterslides are a perfect way to combine all of these tips!
