How to Plan a Birthday Party

1. Select A Party Theme

What does the guest of honor enjoy doing? What are his/her hobbies? Does he/she have a favorite cartoon character, team or movie? Picking the right theme will help make sure this special day is remembered for a lifetime.

2. Start Making Party Plans Early

Proper planning will help alleviate unnecessary stress to a joyous event. Planning ahead ensures you are able to find great deals on a location, party favors & entertainment and invited guest have time to arrange schedules to ensure their attendance.

3. Create a music playlist.

Find songs that fit the party theme and also are age appropriate for your guest.

4. Decorate for the Birthday theme.

Think beyond balloons and streamers. Decorate to set the mood and atmosphere for the party.

5. Plan your food choices around the theme of your party!

6. Find a way to keep your guest entertained.

The best entertainment is both fun and affordable. Make your reservations early to take advantage of available promotions.

7. Expect the unknown factors

No matter how well you plan there will always be factors that you cannot control. Have alternate locations in mind just in case of rain or a larger turnout than expected.

8. Have the guest goodie bags ready.

Make sure that your guests have a little memoir about the celebration they attended. These gifts/goodie bags should reflect the theme as well.
